This is the Study window (in Study mode). This means that the English meanings are not hidden.
The sections are as follows:
Chinese - Displays the Chinese character (if you select both Traditional and Simplified and both exist, it will display both with a slash between them).
Count - Displays what character you are on within your selected range.
Jyutping/Pinyin - Displays the romanizations of the character for Cantonese pronunciation (jyutping) or Mandarin pronunciation (pinyin)
English - Displays the English meaning of the word.
Buttons (Left to Right):
Left Arrow (Left thumb pad button) - Goes back one within the list of characters.
Minus Sign (Down thumb pad button) - Removes the current word from your list once you navigate to the next or previous character, a plus button will appear and you can click that to add it back in if you did not wish to remove the character. I added this ability so that I could keep going through a list studying the characters and removing the ones that I am already familiar with. This only removes the character from your list for this instance, next time you use the list it will be back.
Speaker Icon (Middle thumb pad button) - This will play an MP3 sound file for the given character if a sound file is specified in the Lesson file. (Only on the Beginner and Intermediate lessons for now).
X Button (Up thumb pad button) - This button is for indicating if you got the character right or wrong in Test mode, I saw no reason to remove it from the Study mode.
Right Arrow (Right thumb pad button) - Goes to the next character in your list.
